Wear your camo gear on Friday for SPIRIT DAY!

We are making 10 in MATH becauase  

10 is a "friendly number!"

Notice how the students are putting the cubes into 

10 frames and using 5 groups. 

 

Students are rewriting expressions using the "MAKE 10" strategy. They are also showing how the two expressions are the same. 

Which way is more efficient?

Bring your VALENTINE BOX to school on or before

February 12th!

 

You are also welcome to send your child's valentine cards to school before the 12th! Please remember to either leave the "TO" part blank or have your child write "Friend."

Report Cards

Report cards went home last FRIDAY! Please check your child's backpack!!

Don't forget to sign and return the envelope only. If you have any questions or would like additional resources please don't hesitate to call or e-mail me. Enjoy the week celebrating your child's accomplishments!

Also.....our theme this week in Reading Street was all about how we change and grow.  Please bring in a baby photo next week in a marked envelope or bag so we can see how everyone has grown! I will return them in a few weeks.
