November Reading Contest!

In case you were wondering about the most recent reading log sent home...... WE ARE HAVING A READING CONTEST! The class who reads the most after-school minutes will be able to shave whatever they want into Mr. Darling's beard on Nov. 30th! Please have your child return their reading log along with their homework each Thursday in November. You will receive a new reading log attached to the homework packet each week.

Your child can still earn a Pizza Hut certificate for completing the reading log and returning it to school! Happy Reading!

Spirit Day!

Wear your camo gear on Friday for SPIRIT DAY!

We are making 10 in MATH becauase  

10 is a "friendly number!"

Notice how the students are putting the cubes into 

10 frames and using 5 groups. 

 

Students are rewriting expressions using the "MAKE 10" strategy. They are also showing how the two expressions are the same.

Bring your VALENTINE BOX to school on or before

February 12th!

 

You are also welcome to send your child's valentine cards to school before the 12th! Please remember to either leave the "TO" part blank or have your child write "Friend."

Report Cards

Report cards went home last FRIDAY! Please check your child's backpack!!
