We are making 10 in MATH becauase
10 is a "friendly number!"
Notice how the students are putting the cubes into
10 frames and using 5 groups.
Students are rewriting expressions using the "MAKE 10" strategy. They are also showing how the two expressions are the same.
Which way is more efficient?
